Zack Snyder stuff
If there is a clear merit in the adaptation of Watchmen by Zack Snyder was to urge the rereading of HQ. I read it in college, and that in the movie seemed like a boring thing – the sacrifice for the benefit of millions of billions – in the box sounded like great pop philosophy. Sure, I’m twenty years older, but I wonder if there is cinema, with its actors of flesh and bone, which weakens the idea that in the box seemed a little more palatable. As a reaction to the revelation of the other plan, which seemed too conformist, with the obvious exception of Rorschach.
I am one of the few who like 300, Snyder’s previous movie. There the ultra slow motion did not bother me much, except to the scene of the oracle. In Watchmen, with fifteen minutes I was lamenting this strange tick copyright.
When Rorschach scene is not in the film drops considerably. As in the romantic scenes between Silk Spectre and Night Owl.
Oddly enough, seems to have close-ups too, and some sequences seem to exist only plans to highlight the film side of things, not to seem only a tribute to the Graphic Novel.
This silly talk that the film could only be satisfactory if it had at least four hours. But Snyder was able to prove two paradoxical things about himself: that is a good director and it was not the ideal director for the project. Who would be ideal? I do not know. But I was thinking like a Sam Raimi would be on the contract.
Gary Moore
The name of the wafer is After Hours which means that time that the musicians have finished their work and decide to get together for a jam and then play just for fun, and no doubt is a great pleasure to hear some new album tracks that Mr. Moore. Well, here too there are those annoying faixinhas as Story of the blues or Separate Ways that will make the joy of a larger audience in a xaropinho arrival. But there are other tracks that make this delicious and irresistible After Hours for the most authentic blues fans. In Since I met you baby, Gary invites BB King to an informal chat and a little party in the backyard to talk about drinking and women. The t we already head down and prays thanking. In The Blues is alright Albert Collins, “the ugliest man in the world” does not forgive. Besides the presence of the Yeti Blues still have an exceptionally low with a marking Prince Charles do anything to get the shoe to fall into the party and let it go.
Another great track is Do not you lie to me (I Get Evil) where a guitar and unholy bastard commits sins and fire the roof of a cathedral in London. Gary did not need to sing this song. The guitar speaks in his dialect alone universal and everyone understands the message and passes. Other tracks like Cold Day in Hell and Only Fool in town are also able to take seriously any of the lead soldier of the royal guard. Gary Moore should continue with their blues to our joy, to earn up to another scar on the other side, with blues because there is no way to avoid trouble, but it’s alright. Gary, BB King and Albert Collins are the bastard sitting in front of the studio. Diana spends with his entourage and the three whistle. Soon Princess is loose on the streets. It is a blues prepare to welcome the girl and did not leave her alone in the city.
Love and Anger
I had never seen any of the five episodes of Love and Anger. In fact, I only knew the episode directed by Pasolini, which is one of the best. The Paper Flower Sequence brings Ninetto Davoli walking down the street from the big city and interacting with pedestrians, drivers, street workers, packed ending up by world events, and the stronger he or his innocence. Pasolini in scope is odd, but the film has a color treatment and mergers impressive. Better still is the episode of Jean-Luc Godard, Love, a stroll on the Vietnam War, by Maoism, the Franco-Italian productions in the future episodes and movies, with the usual colors in his films. The Bertolucci, The Agony, with Julian Beck and the Living Theatre, is kind of boring. O Lizzani, Indifference, is interesting, despite the uncertain camera, and the Bellochio, discuss, discuss, is instructive. The DVD No Shame is twofold, which is launching the versatile in Brazil is simple, but it seems that the main extras are left in the Brazilian version.
- Was selling the video for “Rehab,” with Rihanna and Justin Timberlake. The music is cool, Rihanna sings well, but Timberlake’re looking at the Souza’s team Corinthians. Step onto the pitch, complains about everything, man is bad, wrong and leaves.
- Someday I will find that the New Zealand band Split Enz is far more valuable than ever was told, and the brothers Tim and Neil Finn are composers of the first magnitude.
- I stopped with the BBB 10. I can not bear Nana. If she leaves tomorrow, what would I find it hard, maybe I go back to the program. To listen to the nonsense that she does not speak. Enough of the nonsense of all other participants.
- I can not imagine anything further from me than the world of surfing. However, I liked to see Surf Adventures 2 – The Search Continues, which is better than the first. The images are still impressive, especially those creepy giant waves. The trail is only a little less inspired than the first film but still very good. The narration is poor, because most of the text than the narrator, but not enough to disturb. There’s a pdf about it that I will try to convert to excel with this pdf to excel converter and post here later.
- I am very scared when I see the negative reactions to something we say in our blogs. Both here and in Film from mouth to mouth, and Ignatius Passarim, Daniel, some disagreements occur so rudely that I wonder what kind of monsters created the internet, who do not know the words delicately and education. It would be nice if politicians like to complain, the SPTrans, the CET, the Church, the banks, or any other institution. But no, lambs should be conformists discounting anger and frustration ignorance beating on keyboards.
- Glad you have a comma between Passarim and Daniel in the topic above. ‘d Be pretty weird without it.
- From the series “bands that were not aged well, I was” Hear ye, and DeBarge Culture Club and enjoyed in recent days. They were bands that I hated in the early 80′s.
